MOD. MODUS II IDROSTATICO

Modus II is an international patent that revolutionizes the modern mixing system equipped with more vertical augers.
Today there are several cutter-mixer wagons equipped with more vertical augers available on the market. This mixing principle was patented in 1984 but, despite some small variations, it is still showing problems that make the mixing problematic.

Why?

The two or more vertical augers work now on equal levels; the result is that they seem two disjoint mixers without the correct exchange from one auger to the other.
In order to obtain quite a good mixing the machine must work for a long time because the exchange takes place very slowly, especially with high specific weight material.
Only during the discharge, when the quantity of product in the wagon decreases notably, there is a mixing that yet interests only a limited  final quantity.

MODUS II is a vertical mixer wagon which unlike the other vertical mixers available on the market, operates through a system of 2 or 3 augers fixed at different heights at a distance of at least 15 cm from each other. In this way, the force of gravity allows the passage of the material through falling from one side to the other: the augers, arranged at different heights, intersect in the lower part avoiding any collision even when speed is changed.
The result will be a uniquely accurate mixing and the possibility to load every kind of product: long, short, packed, humid and dry product.
This system is also fit for the preparation of dry portions for bovine and sheep feeding that also need big quantities of long fibre.

Even the discharge phase is much more homogenous and rapid as the product fallen from the auger arranged on the upper level is suddenly grasped by the lower auger and then carried toward the unloading mouth; the discharge is also facilitated because the high number of revolutions of the augers allows a total expulsion of the product, leaving the bottom of the tank completely cleaned.

HYDROSTATIC DRIVE

The overdrive operates the hydraulic coupled delivery-variable pumps. These electronic control pumps are equipped with two potentiometers used to select singularly the number of the revolutions of the motor reducers, which operate the augers, from 0 to 44 per minute.
This solution allows the user to choose the most proper number of revolutions, according to the product to be cut, mixed and discharged.
Besides, the hydrostatic drive does not overload the tractor engine if the augers must be reactivated with the wagon at full load as the user can choose to start idling.
Unloading belt, hatch back door, hydraulic foot, counter-knives and other eventual accessories are equipped with electric control.

Homokinetic Cardan joint, two speed gear, hydraulic or air brakes, floury product insertion hopper, metering roller on the unloading belt, manual counter-knives, fodder loader, straw blower, graphic electronic weighing, printer, display indicator, lateral unloading belt shifting (max. 40 cm), hydraulic extension on unloading belt, magnet fixed beneath the unloading belt to collect ferrous metal objects, rear unloading belt, air conditioning, automatic greasing system.
